Join the Conversation on the Ocean and Great Lakes

The Blue Beacon Series aims to bring to light the ocean and Great Lakes’ biggest challenges through panels, lectures, and film screenings hosted around the country in order to build communities of support for marine protected areas. This series builds on the momentum of Capitol Hill Ocean Week, the nation’s premier conference on ocean and Great Lakes policy issues by bringing these important conversations into locally relevant contexts.

Upcoming Blue Beacon Series Events

We hope you will join us in 2024 for more Blue Beacon Series events.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation is currently seeking sponsors to support Blue Beacon Series events in new communities. Sponsorship of individual events or for the overall series provides an excellent opportunity for your brand to reach new audiences and demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility. Sponsors have the opportunity to provide remarks at series events, be included in digital marketing, enjoy reserved seating and other privileges at events, and have their logo featured on signage and printed materials.

Blue Beacon Sponsorships are $5,000 for a Blue Beacon Event Sponsorship, for a single event in a specific location, and $20,000 for a Blue Beacon Series Sponsorship, for all events in the series and at all locations. For more information, contact Peggy Knudson, Vice President of Development at pknudson@marinesanctuary.org or 301.754.6162

Take Action
Be the voice for national marine sanctuaries, marine monuments and protecting America’s waters. Join the rising tide to make a difference today. Together, we can fight for a healthier future for our ocean, coastlines and Great Lakes, preserve historic shipwrecks, and save critical marine wildlife. We can build stronger economies for our communities, grow jobs and businesses. We must conserve our underwater treasures and strengthen ocean science, education, and recreation. These special places belong to all of us. ACT NOW.
