The wonders that lie beneath our protected waters are hard for most people to see. But few are aware that off the coast of New England is a dynamic environment with extraordinary marine wildlife that includes apex predators such as great white sharks, ocean giants like humpback whales, schools of mackerel, and an entire microscopic ecosystem of planktonic creatures that are even visible from space.

SPACE TO SEA explores photography and environmental storytelling at the intersection of art, science and technology to spark imagination and transform public perception about the surprising diversity of marine life in Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary off the coast of Massachusetts. Join the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation for a special presentation from Keith Ellenbogen as we discover the wonders our national marine sanctuaries hold and connect communities who depend on and care for the sanctuaries.
