It takes people power to make a national marine sanctuary, and it takes people power to sustain it. And we need people like YOU to speak up on behalf of our national marine sanctuaries and marine national monuments. TAKE ACTION NOW!

What’s Happening Now:

Our national marine sanctuaries are essential, and they need proper funding and staff support. The recent firing of hundreds of NOAA employees earlier this month has already harmed the function of our underwater parks — we can’t risk another blow.

Right now: Congress is deciding our government’s budget. The funding they allocate for our national marine sanctuaries determines our ability to continue our critical work of protecting precious natural resources and wildlife.
