It’s time to tell Congress to support funding for America’s national marine sanctuaries. We need your voice!
Right now: Congress is deciding our government’s budget for FY26. The funding they allocate for our national marine sanctuaries determines our ability to continue our critical work of protecting precious natural resources and wildlife.
The recent firing of hundreds of NOAA employees has already harmed the function of our underwater parks—we can’t risk another blow.
We’re asking lawmakers for no less than $115 million to steward the 629,000 sq miles of marine sanctuary waters throughout our ocean and Great Lakes. This funding is just a drop in the ocean of the annual federal budget. Marine sanctuaries anchor coastal economies, jobs, and advance American prosperity and community health.
ACT NOW to email lawmakers and urge them to support essential funding for our national marine sanctuaries. Sign our letter using the form to the right and we will send it directly to your Members of Congress.
