Right now, a bill in Congress would amend the National Marine Sanctuaries Act, a foundational environmental law that conserves America’s underwater treasures and empowers community input on the use of our national marine sanctuaries.
That means that all who depend on sanctuaries: local business owners, commercial and recreational fishermen, outdoor recreation lovers, and more could all be silenced in decisions about our sanctuaries.
