We also need to hear from a wide variety of people who have a critical stake in the health of the Olympic Coast. For that reason, Congress requires that we maintain a Sanctuary Advisory Council to represent broad interests and advise the sanctuary superintendent on our work. Browse to our Sanctuary Advisory page to learn about the council, its purpose, its meeting schedule and, most of all, its members, who commit to helping us protect the sanctuary for future generations.

Another way that you can get involved with the sanctuary is to volunteer your time working with us on various day-to-day activities. These range from once-a-year beach cleanups to regular shifts in the Olympic Coast Discovery Center.
