About CHOW Hill Day
Join the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation on June 6th, 2019, for our second annual CHOW Hill Day. Building off of the CHOW Conference, Hill Day offers the opportunity for attendees to elevate ocean and Great Lakes policy issues with Members of Congress and their staff. While on the Hill for our free programming, we encourage participants to meet with their elected officials to discuss critical policy issues affecting conservation, science, and technology.
CHOW Hill Day features two unique opportunities for attendees to engage with key decision makers:
2019 Hill Day Events
Coastal Coffee (Thursday, June 6 at 9am)
Join us for a morning coffee panel featuring Congressional staff and Members, who will discuss current ocean and Great Lakes legislation. This panel is great for participants who plan to meet with their elected officials throughout the day and anyone interested in learning about ocean and Great Lakes policy priorities.

CHOW Closing Reception (Thursday, June 6 at 5:30 pm)
Join us for the official Capitol Hill Ocean Week closing reception! This unique event takes place on Capitol Hill and allows participants to celebrate another successful CHOW while networking and connecting with Members of Congress, Congressional Staff, Administration officials, scientists, business and industry executives, and ocean thought leaders and enthusiasts.
